We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for the smooth operation of our food service, whether in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area by regularly cleaning countertops, floors, and equipment.
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables and transporting dirty dishes to the dishwashing area.
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to maintain hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Assist with banquet setups and breakdowns as required for special events.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and kitchen safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration with culinary staff.
- Experience in food preparation or cooking is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various kitchen tasks as needed.

Pay: $15.23 - $16.50 per hour
