Porter/Electric Pallet Jack Operator

Overview

We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Electric Pallet Jack Operator / Order Picker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting customer orders, operating the electric pallet jack, and maintaining the cleanliness and order of the facility. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and adherence to warehouse safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate electric pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Accurately pick, pack, and stage customer orders according to pick tickets.
• Transport products throughout the warehouse while maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Verify item descriptions, quantities, and product codes to ensure order accuracy.
• Stack and secure merchandise on pallets to prevent damage during transport.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and product rotation as needed.
• Inspect equipment daily and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
• Meet productivity, accuracy, and quality standards established by management.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and OSHA safety regulations.

Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse, order picking, or electric pallet jack experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and work in a fast-paced environment for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
