Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning duties across various areas, including guest rooms, hallways, lobbies, and public spaces, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Handle floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to maintain a spotless environment.
• Assist with moving furniture, supplies, and equipment safely and efficiently, demonstrating the ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
• Support housekeeping staff with replenishing supplies and organizing storage areas to promote efficiency.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report them promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas, including parking lots and walkways, ensuring a welcoming exterior appearance.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures diligently to ensure a secure environment for everyone on site.

Experience

• Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles within hospitality or industrial settings is highly desirable.
• Experience with floor care techniques such as buffing or carpet cleaning is a plus.
• Background in hotel housekeeping or hospitality management will be advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) safely and consistently throughout shifts.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
