Porter/Maintenance

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Porter/Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities. This position involves performing various maintenance tasks, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors and staff.

Duties

• Conduct routine inspections of the premises to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
• Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal.
• Assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing leaks, and painting.
• Maintain outdoor areas by ensuring walkways, parking lots, and landscaping are clean and well-kept.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and maintenance tools, reporting any shortages as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing all duties.

Experience

• Previous experience in a maintenance or janitorial role is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general repair techniques is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and management.
• A valid driver's license may be required depending on job responsibilities related to transportation of materials or equipment.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
