Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Conduct janitorial and custodial tasks in both commercial and residential settings, ensuring all areas are spotless and organized.
• Carry out floor care activities such as buffing, polishing, and stripping to preserve flooring quality and appearance.
• Assist with basic maintenance tasks like repairing fixtures, painting walls, and addressing minor repairs to keep facilities in top condition.
• Support industrial cleaning projects by using specialized equipment to clean large or hard-to-reach areas efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, restrooms, offices, and hallways consistently throughout the shift.
• Follow safety protocols during all cleaning and maintenance activities to ensure a secure working environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in janitorial work, custodial services, or facilities maintenance is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including commercial cleaning practices and floor care procedures.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers and vacuums safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Basic understanding of industrial cleaning methods and residential painting is a plus.
