You bring the talent; we bring the opportunity! We are looking for a Portfolio Analyst for our Ames, Iowa location.
Ideal candidates will have these skills and experience:
Works on making and receiving loan collection calls
Works with seller banks and correspondents regarding delinquent loans
Send – receive – and file delinquency reports
Develop and obtain approval of delinquency plans
Communicate and submit monthly/quarterly reporting to Investor Funding Sources
Work with attorneys with regards to bankruptcy, foreclosure and REO
Track and document collection expenses
Issue delinquent loan payoff requests
Work with seller banks and correspondent regarding servicing requests such as partial
releases/subordinations/easements/RLOC resets
Gather appropriate information and complete analysis to support servicing requests
Submit appropriate documentation and analysis to Funding Sources for approval
Ensure file documentation supports all servicing/collection activity
Monitor and make recommendations regarding Insurance and taxes
Establish and maintain good relationships with Funding Sources, underwriters and staff
Reviews, analyzes, evaluates and prepares periodic reports for management
Assists in creation and maintenance of credit related policies, processes and procedures
Develops resolutions to complex problems that require the frequent use of creativity
Qualifications:
Requires College degree or equivalent and 6+ year’s credit, credit administration within
an agricultural or commercial loan environment or other directly related experience
Strong attention to detail, organizational and problem-solving skills with an ability to meet deadlines.
Must be a self-starter and work with little or no supervision
Advanced written and verbal communication skills
Tact, diplomacy, and good judgment required at all times
Proven customer service skills and effective team skills
Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office products (outlook, Excel, Word, Access, Etc.)
and other industry-specific applications including loan origination, closing, and servicing systems
