We are looking to add a Portfolio Applications Technician to our dynamic team at our Development Center in Lebanon, OH! The Portfolio Applications Technician supports the Portfolio team’s day-to-day R&D activities, including assisting with flavor validation by applying flavors across multiple product categories. Working under general supervision, this role helps ensure that flavor solutions align with target applications and meet customer expectations. The Portfolio Applications Technician plays a critical role in driving portfolio strategic alignment and enhancing customer-centric practices.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Apply flavors across diverse product applications for portfolio development and R&D team evaluation.

Monitor and maintain adequate levels of raw materials and lab supplies to support ongoing project work and minimize delays

Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness of the lab workspace

Monitor and maintain flavor library in partnership with sample services team

Capture flavor portfolio taste data accurately adhering to Mane sensory language and best practices

Maintain accurate records of portfolio base recipes and assist in managing application data files.

Participates in taste panels and project evaluations.

Handle special tasks and projects as requested in order to meet company objectives.

Build a working knowledge of internal project processes and timelines to effectively support the successful execution of portfolio customer and strategic initiatives.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or equivalent required with associate’s degree preferred.

Minimum of one year in a flavor/food industry preferred with experience in food preparation and/or flavor research and development
