Today, we are recruiting for a Portfolio Sales Professional to join our team in Turkey. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.


What are my responsibilities?

  • Support the Key Account Manager by collaborating closely in managing relationships with critical public stakeholders, including the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transportation, AYGM, and TCDD.
  • Lead regional sales initiatives in the Central Anatolia and Black Sea regions to expand Siemens Mobility’s presence in transportation and mobility sectors.
  • Work in alignment with HQ sales teams to ensure a consistent and unified approach across regions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and projects, particularly with municipalities and private companies involved in rail infrastructure and freight transportation.
  • Collaborate with bid managers and the sales team to develop and submit proposals in response to tenders and RFPs.
  • Build and maintain strong customer and partner relationships, ensuring high satisfaction and long-term collaboration.
  • Contribute to the execution of national sales strategies while adapting to local market dynamics and opportunities.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and analyses, providing insights on performance, market trends, and customer feedback to the KAM.
  • Coordinate with technical teams, project management, and marketing to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years’ sales experience in the transportation, infrastructure, or mobility sectors, with strong expertise in railway infrastructure such as mass transit and mainline signaling solutions. Experience with rolling stock (Metro or Light Rail) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the transportation, rail, and mobility industries, including public procurement processes and key stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage customer relationships and deliver tailored solutions with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to work effectively with senior government officials and cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinking, strong problem-solving skills, and a results-driven approach to achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Collaborative team player with high adaptability to changing market conditions and customer demands.
  • Fluent in Turkish and English, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the Central Anatolia and Black Sea regions, as well as to HQ and other relevant locations.
