Position: Draughtsman – Joinery

Role Description

Elevare Interiors is seeking an experienced Draughtsman – Joinery to support the preparation of detailed technical drawings and shop drawings for high end interior fit out projects.

The Draughtsman will be responsible for translating design concepts into precise technical drawings, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring accuracy throughout the fabrication and installation process.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed joinery shop drawings for fabrication and installation
• Develop accurate technical drawings for cabinets, doors, windows, and custom furniture
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, design intent, and site conditions
• Coordinate with architects, designers, and project managers to ensure alignment
• Collaborate with other trades to ensure proper integration of joinery elements
• Prepare quantity take-offs and support cost estimation
• Assist in material selection, finishes, and hardware specifications
• Conduct site visits to verify measurements and resolve technical issues
• Revise drawings based on site conditions and client feedback

Requirements

• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in joinery drafting within interior Fit-out projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of joinery construction, materials, and detailing
• Experience in preparing shop drawings, cutting lists, and quantity take offs
• Ability to interpret design drawings into technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
• UAE experience is a must
