Positive Reinforcement dog walker

Looking for a reliable, dedicated dog lover!! This will start as a dog walking position. Any dog training experience is a huge plus, as my business offers walk and trains. I am not looking for an employee, I am looking for an independent contractor. You MUST be aware of what this is, as its different from an employee.

• Must be an independent worker. This job requires you to work well on your own.
• Must be willing to drive to and from houses throughout the day. This is a physical job, you must be able to walk on your feet for up to 5 hours a day.
• Must drive a reliable car.
• Must have at least 1 year experience walking dogs or working with dogs professionally.
• Must be willing to work all 4 seasons, rain or shine!
• Must be willing to use Google Sheets for tracking services with clients.
• Must be capable of creating your own schedule and working professionally with dog owners. This job will require you to communicate with dog owners regarding:

-Scheduling dog walks.

-Keeping owners updated on how their dog did during the walk, if there is anything to be noted.

-Sending pictures of the dog to the owner.

This job will require dedication and a passion for dogs and dog behavior. I use positive reinforcement when working with animals and do not allow dogs to be walked on anything except a harness, martingale or flat collar. The use of aversive methods is not allowed, you must be willing to sign a contract stating you will abide by this rule.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $1,000.00 - $3,000.00 per month
