Join the laboratory of Dr. Chengyu Liang at The Wistar Institute, the first NCI-designated basic cancer center. We are recruiting highly motivated Post-Doctoral Fellow to tackle fundamental questions at the intersection of cancer biology and viral infectious disease.
Research in the Liang Lab focuses on uncovering the fundamental principles of cellular processes that drive cancer development and viral infectious diseases. Our long-term goal is to translate mechanistic discoveries into therapeutic strategies for cancers of unmet clinical need.
This position will be primarily focused on herpesvirology, investigating the molecular mechanisms of herpesvirus–host interactions and their roles in pathogenesis and oncogenesis. The successful candidate will use molecular and cellular biology, biochemistry, and virology approaches to elucidate virus–host interplay and discover potential therapeutic targets.
