Post Judgment Legal Assistant

Job Summary:

The Post Judgment Department plays a pivotal role following the issuance of Court judgments. Our primary responsibility involves meticulously reviewing files to ascertain employer and bank information, facilitating the preparation of wage and bank garnishments for submission to the courts, and overseeing all ensuing processes. Additionally, our role encompasses a comprehensive range of post-judgment legal remedies, including but not limited to levies, motions, and revivals, as directed.

Essential Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive research and maintain databases to determine employment and banking details.
• Coordinate garnishment printing and submission to attorneys for review.
• Manage document handling and communication with employers and banks.
• Verify employment and facilitate necessary correspondence.
• Monitor file progress and maintain timelines.
• Liaise with Courts and Sheriff’s Departments for service updates.

Education and Experience:

• Preferred 1-2 years of experience in office administrative roles.
• Preferred experience of 1 or more years in skip tracing and data analysis
• Proficiency in office environment operations and computer usage.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
