Post-Production Editor (Part-Time, Hybrid)

Pentagon Studios ATL, a full-service creative production company and affiliated partner of Hollywood ATL, is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Post-Production Editor to support ongoing major production projects.

This position is ideal for an aspiring editor looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced studio environment while working on high-visibility content in music, nightlife, and entertainment production.

The Entry-Level Post-Production Editor will assist in editing and assembling video content under senior production direction. This is an on-site role working directly within the Pentagon Studios ATL production workflow.

Hybrid – Atlanta, GA

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form and event-based content using:
• Final Cut Pro
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• CapCut
• Perform basic color grading and color correction
• Execute clean cuts and transitions
• Sync footage to audio and perform beat matching
• Apply keyframing techniques for motion and effects
• Follow structured editing workflows and step-by-step production guidelines
• Import/export media files from SD cards and HDMI-connected devices
• Maintain organized project files and adhere to studio naming conventions
• Meet assigned deadlines with strong time management

Required Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Final Cut Pro and/or Adobe Premiere Pro
• Familiarity with CapCut for social and short-form content
• Basic understanding of:
• Color grading
• Keyframing
• Audio syncing & beat matching
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow direct instructions precisely
• Reliable time management and punctuality
• High-speed internet access (for file transfers if required)
• Familiarity with SD cards, HDMI connections, and digital file handling

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: From $10.50 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 8 per week
