Post-Tension Slab Designer – Job Description

A Post-Tension Slab Designer is responsible for designing and preparing structural post-tension slab systems for building projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with engineering standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design post-tension slab systems including tendon layouts, profiles, and stressing details
• Prepare detailed structural drawings, shop drawings, and reinforcement plans
• Perform structural analysis and calculations for PT slabs
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and consultants
• Ensure designs comply with building codes, standards, and project requirements
• Review and revise drawings based on site conditions and consultant feedback
• Provide technical support during construction and installation phases
• Ensure proper detailing of anchorages, ducts, and stressing points
• Use structural design software for analysis and modeling
• Maintain accurate documentation of design revisions and approvals

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Experience in post-tension slab design
• Knowledge of structural analysis and PT systems
• Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000)
• Strong understanding of building codes and standards
• Good communication and coordination skills

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
