Postdoctoral fellow OR Research Scientist in Molecular Biology

Thumbay Research Institute for Precision Medicine (TRIPM) is an established comprehensive research center located within the campus of Gulf Medical University, Ajman, UAE. The institute’s research focuses are onco-immunology, in particular tumor microenvironment, DNA repair processes and tumor immunogenicity, hypoxic stress and tumor resistance pathways.

TRIPM is seeking a creative, accomplished, and highly motivated Research Scientist in Molecular Biology to work in the field of Molecular immuno-oncology. The successful candidate will work on research projects focused on the understanding of the influence of tumor microenvironment stress on the regulation of tumor immunogenicity (mutational burden and killer cells). Experience in DNA sequencing will be a plus.

Principal responsibilities:

• Lead a research project in the field of cancer immunology.

• Conduct collaborative research work with other leading research institutions.

• Supervise PhD students.

• Publish research in high-ranking peer review journals.
