Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented Protein Engineering Postdoctoral Scientist to play a pivotal role in our dynamic research environment. As a member of our team, you will lead the design, expression, and characterization of engineered proteins with tailored properties. Your work will contribute to the development of next-generation biotechnological tools, therapeutics, and biomaterials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and engineer protein variants with improved stability, binding affinity, and functionality using rational design and directed evolution approaches.
• Utilize molecular biology techniques to generate gene constructs for protein expression in various host systems.
• Express, purify, and characterize engineered proteins using a range of biophysical and biochemical assays.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to integrate protein engineering insights into product development.
• Contribute to the design and execution of experiments, data analysis, and interpretation of results.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in protein engineering methodologies and bring innovative strategies to the team.
• Present findings internally and externally, and contribute to research publications.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Protein Engineering, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in designing and engineering proteins using rational design and/or directed evolution methods.
• Proficiency in molecular cloning, protein expression, and purification techniques.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience with protein structural analysis tools is a plus.
