Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior PostgreSQL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in PostgreSQL development, optimization, and performance tuning. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and enhancing our database systems to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize complex database structures and queries using PostgreSQL.
• Create and maintain stored procedures, functions, triggers, and scripts using PL/pgSQL.
• Implement performance tuning techniques to ensure high database efficiency and scalability.
• Monitor, configure, and manage PostgreSQL replication and backup processes.
• Analyze and optimize slow-running queries and database workloads.
• Ensure database security, data integrity, and high availability.
• Collaborate with application developers to support efficient database integration.
• Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Participate in database architecture planning and improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience working with PostgreSQL.
• Strong knowledge of advanced SQL, indexing, query optimization, and schema design.
• Expertise in PL/pgSQL development.
• Experience with replication setups (logical/physical) and backup strategies.
• Proven experience in performance tuning and diagnosing database bottlenecks.
• Familiarity with database monitoring tools and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

• Experience with cloud-based databases (AWS RDS, Azure PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Knowledge of Linux-based system administration.
• Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices related to database operations.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
