Poultry Farm Operations Head

Responsibilities • Oversee and manage multiple poultry units within a district. • Lead and guide Unit Managers and build a strong mid-level operations team. • Monitor brooding, flock health, biosecurity, and performance across all units. • Ensure production and efficiency targets are consistently achieved. • Coordinate with Head Office on purchases, sales, logistics, and accounts. • Control costs and optimize resource utilization across farms. • Provide strong leadership and people management, including training and motivating teams. • Drive operations to meet international standards and maintain compliance with certifications such as ISO, quality audits, and biosecurity protocols. • Submit regular reports on performance, issues, and improvements to senior management. Requirements • 10+ years of proven experience in broiler breeder / commercial Layer farm management • Strong track record in reputed poultry groups like Venkys, Suguna, IB, etc. • Expertise in flock management, biosecurity, and farm operations. • Demonstrated ability to handle large teams and multiple units. • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. • Degree/Diploma in Animal Science, Poultry Science, or Agriculture preferred (experience can substitute).
