Powder Coater

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Powder Coater to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying protective and decorative coatings to metal and other materials using advanced powder coating techniques. Your work ensures that products meet quality standards, are durable, and have an attractive finish. Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, or masking as needed using hand tools and power tools.
• Operate powder coating equipment, including spray booths and airless paint sprayers, to apply coatings evenly on various parts.
• Set up and manage the powder coating process, ensuring proper curing times and temperatures are maintained.
• Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments to verify coating thickness and quality standards.
• Handle materials safely with forklift and crane operations to move parts between workstations and storage areas.
• Perform basic maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot issues related to machinery or coating application.
• Follow safety protocols related to industrial painting, auto body repair techniques, and materials handling to maintain a safe work environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial painting is preferred, especially with powder coating processes.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, fabrication, welding, auto painting, or auto body repair is advantageous.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, crane operation, forklift certification, and warehouse experience is beneficial.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments and perform basic math calculations accurately.
