This role plays a key part in our coating process by preparing and handling parts for powder coating, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the finishing line.

Pay Rate: $18-$19/hr.
Job Knowledge and Skills:
- 1-2 years of industrial coating system required in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to focus closely on details (attention to detail is critical)
- Must have the ability to take direction and work well with others.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to stand, walk stoop, bend, and lift overhead.
- Ability to move/lift up to 75lbs
- Frequently required to use hands to handle objects
- Ability to work in a hot environment.
- Specific vision requirements include close vision.
- Hang and rack parts in preparation for the coating process
- Ensure proper spacing and alignment of materials for quality coverage
- Cleans paint lines, guns, and preventative maintenance
- Report problems with quality, process, equipment and materials to supervisor
- Inspect parts for defects or inconsistencies
- Remove finished parts from the line and prepare for next steps
- Comply with policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements
- Must have the ability to take direction and work well with others
- Must work within the confines of Selux’s PPE and Safety Policy, which includes, Safety Glasses, gloves and dust masks.
