Power and Sustainability Data Analyst

Title: Power and Sustainability Data Analyst

The Power and Sustainability Data Analyst will support our Power and Sustainability programs worldwide, leading research and analysis used to develop corporate power and sustainability tactical items to ensure that business practices, products, and services are being completed with internal and external stakeholders. Assists with organizational power and sustainability issues, such as data integrity, automation of data and processes and working within systems to streamline the input and output of data. This position reports to the Power and Sustainability Senior Analyst and has a hybrid schedule.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Data analytics related to power and sustainability
  • Identifying gaps or errors with data and working within systems to correct, extrapolate, or route the correct the data
  • Various projects to streamline or automate tasks such as reporting data to a customer on a regular cadence
  • Creating and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports
  • Data entry and/or review of power bills, tracking power rates, and assisting the billing department with power billing as needed.
  • Monitor, track, and report on ECX's key sustainability indicators, such as energy usage, natural resource usage, waste generation, and recycling.
  • Create or maintain deliverables related to sustainability and power projects.
  • Assist with development and support of sustainability project goals, objectives, initiatives, or strategies in collaboration with procurement team and other sustainability professionals.
  • Assist in creation of marketing or outreach media, such as brochures or web pages.
  • Communicate with management, shareholders, customers, and employees to address power and sustainability issues.

Experience/Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a subject such as Data Analytics, Statistics, Environmental studies, Surveying, or Engineering.
  • Proficient in Copilot or related AI tools, Power BI, Databases, Coding, Power Point, Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Able to create, manage, and administer conflicting priorities based on Departmental needs.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
  • Candidates with prior experience working with a team focused on data, power, sustainability or green initiatives are strongly encouraged to apply.
