Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-grade BI solutions. The ideal candidate will not only build dashboards and data models but also focus on user experience, performance optimization, governance, and automation. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into impactful insights, driving data-led decision making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Dashboard Development & Design

• Build and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and paginated reports.
• Apply strong UI/UX principles to create intuitive, visually appealing, and mobile-friendly dashboards.
• Implement advanced features like drill-throughs, bookmarks, storytelling visuals, Q&A integration, and interactive navigation.

Data Modeling & Transformation

• Develop optimized data models with advanced DAX and time-intelligence functions.
• Design and maintain complex ETL processes using Power Query (M) and SQL.
• Ensure query folding, aggregations, and incremental refresh for performance scalability.

Data Integration & Governance

• Integrate multiple sources (databases, APIs, Excel, flat files, streaming data).
• Implement row-level and column-level security (RLS/CLS) to enforce data privacy.
• Manage Power BI Service workspaces, deployment pipelines, and tenant governance.
• Automate dataset refreshes and ensure high data reliability.

Analytics & Insights

• Deliver actionable insights for KPIs such as revenue, occupancy compliance, and customer behavior trends.
• Build geo-spatial analysis with heatmaps, filled maps, and zone-level breakdowns.
• Conduct root-cause analysis of data issues and provide trend forecasting where required.

Collaboration & Support

• Partner with cross-functional teams to define metrics and reporting standards.
• Document BI assets, maintain version control, and manage change requests.
• Train business users on self-service BI features.

Required Skills

• 5–6 yrs of hands-on experience in Power BI, SQL, DAX, and advanced data modeling.
• Strong expertise in Power Query (M) for data transformations.
• Proven ability in performance tuning (aggregations, incremental refresh, partitioning).
• Knowledge of ETL processes, OLAP frameworks, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience in creating interactive dashboards, custom visuals, and storytelling reports.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and big data integration.
• Exposure to Python/R for statistical analysis or custom visuals.
• Familiarity with real-time streaming data and predictive analytics.
• Hands-on with Power BI APIs for embedding, automation, and custom integrations.
• Experience with Power BI Deployment Pipelines (Dev-Test-Prod environments).
• Knowledge of design systems and dashboard standardization.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
