Job Title : Power BI Developer

Experience: 3 - 6+ years

Mode: 3- 6 month contract + ext.

Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and Development: Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of interactive Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations in the Power BI Service and Desktop environments.
• Data Modeling: Architect and implement scalable and optimized data models (Star and Snowflake schemas) to support complex reporting requirements from disparate data sources.
• Advanced Analytics: Write and optimize Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for complex calculations, measures, Key Performance Indicators ($\text{KPI}$s), and time-intelligence functions.
• Data Integration & ETL: Utilize Power Query (M language) to connect, extract, transform, and load (ETL/ELT) data from various sources, including SQL Server, Azure Data Services, APIs, and Excel.
• Performance Tuning: Proactively identify and resolve performance issues related to DAX, data models, and report rendering speed.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather, refine, and translate complex business requirements into technical BI solutions.
• Security & Governance: Implement and manage Row-Level Security (RLS) and enforce data governance standards within the Power BI Service.

Technical Skills and Qualifications:

Mandatory Expertise

• Power BI Platform: Mastery of Power BI Desktop, Power Query (M Language), DAX, and Power BI Service administration.
• Database: Advanced proficiency in SQL for data manipulation, query writing, and stored procedure development.
• Data Modeling: Deep understanding and practical experience with dimensional modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema) and relationships.
• Data Warehousing: Strong conceptual knowledge of data warehousing principles (DW), ETL/ELT processes, and data quality assurance.

Preferred Skills (Advantageous)

• Experience with Azure Data Services (e.g., Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake).
• Familiarity with the broader Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics or custom visuals.
• Relevant Microsoft Certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate).

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹160,000.00 per month
