About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Power BI Developer to join our growing analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing Power BI dashboards, data models, and automation pipelines that support key business functions. This is a remote night-shift role for professionals who can take ownership, work independently, and ensure seamless data delivery and reporting.
Key ResponsibilitiesDiscovery & SOPs
- Develop and maintain SOPs, data dictionaries, and metric definitions (e.g., cancels, reservice rate, tech productivity, revenue, etc.)
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business processes into analytical documentation.
Data Integration & Modeling
- Integrate and automate data pipelines from APIs, Google Sheets, Excel, and CSV sources using tools like Zapier, API Nation, and Power Automate.
- Build and optimize Power Query ETL workflows (cleaning, shaping, deduping, type handling).
- Develop DAX-based models with star-schema best practices.
- Configure incremental and scheduled refreshes using on-prem/enterprise gateways.
Dashboarding & User Experience
- Design role-based Power BI dashboards (e.g., Daily Scorecards, CSS Performance, Sales Pipeline, Operations Audits).
- Ensure usability and performance optimization (slicers, drill-throughs, bookmarks, query folding, etc.).
Automation & Maintenance
- Proactively monitor data pipelines, set up alerts, and troubleshoot schema or upstream changes.
- Maintain version control and change logs for all dashboards and data sources.
Quality & Governance
- Implement validation checks to reconcile data between source and model.
- Maintain naming conventions, refresh calendars, and data access controls.
Stakeholder Enablement
- Conduct weekly review sessions to align dashboards with business needs.
- Train and support leaders in understanding and using the scorecards effectively.
Required Qualifications
- 1–2+ years of professional experience in Power BI development (Power Query, DAX, data modeling, performance tuning).
- Strong ETL experience handling semi-structured data (Sheets, CSVs, APIs).
- Proficiency in SQL for data transformations and validations.
- Experience with Power BI Service, including gateway setup and scheduled refreshes.
- Proven experience creating executive dashboards and operational reports used in daily decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to document processes clearly.
- Self-driven with a proactive approach to monitoring and fixing automations.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Familiarity with route-based platforms.
- Exposure to Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage, or G-Suite to Microsoft data migrations.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
