Power BI Developer (4–5 Years Experience)Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer with 4–5 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and optimizing business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data modeling, dashboard creation, and performance tuning, with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Modeling & Integration
• Develop and optimize data models using Power BI, DAX, and Power Query.
• Integrate data from multiple sources (SQL Server, Excel, APIs, cloud services).
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely refresh schedules.
• Dashboard & Report Development
• Design interactive dashboards and reports aligned with business needs.
• Implement advanced visualizations, drill-throughs, bookmarks, and slicers.
• Apply row-level security (RLS) for controlled data access.
• Performance Optimization
• Troubleshoot and optimize queries, datasets, and reports for scalability.
• Apply best practices in DAX coding and Power BI service deployment.
• Collaboration & Requirement Gathering
• Partner with business analysts, stakeholders, and end-users to gather requirements.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and BI solutions.
• Provide training and support to business teams for self-service BI adoption.
• Deployment & Administration
• Publish reports to Power BI Service and manage workspaces.
• Configure gateways, scheduled refreshes, and security roles.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and organizational standards.
• Advanced Analytics & Automation
• Implement AI visuals, predictive analytics, and custom measures.
• Automate workflows using Power Automate integrated with Power BI.
• Explore integration with Azure services for advanced BI solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience as a Power BI Developer or BI Analyst.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and Power Query.
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of row-level security, governance, and compliance in BI solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Azure Data Factory, Synapse, or other cloud BI tools.
• Experience with Power Automate for workflow automation.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
