Power BI Engineer

You will deliver the reporting layer that gives business leaders visibility into telecom network health, subscriber behaviour, and fintech financial performance — enabling data-driven decisions at every level of the organisation.

ROLE MISSION

Deliver enterprise BI solutions using Power BI and semantic models in Fabric.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build Power BI datasets, reports, and dashboards for telecom operations (network KPIs, subscriber analytics, ARPU, churn rate, NPS) and fintech management (revenue, transaction volumes, fraud rates, agent performance)
• Develop semantic models on Microsoft Fabric that serve as the single source of truth for business metrics
• Work with business stakeholders across telecom and fintech divisions to translate requirements into actionable visual analytics
• Implement row-level security to control access to sensitive customer and financial data
• Optimise report performance for large-scale telecom and transaction datasets

MUST-HAVE SKILLS

• Power BI (Desktop, Service, Power Query)
• DAX (advanced measures and calculations)
• Data modelling (dimensional, star schema)

NICE-TO-HAVE

• Microsoft Fabric semantic model experience
• Experience building dashboards for telecom or financial services
• Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification
• Power BI REST API and deployment pipeline knowledge
