Power BI Specialist

A skilled Power BI Specialist is required to develop interactive dashboards, build scalable data models, and support analytics-driven decision-making within the organization.
This is a full-time role (On-site / Offshore depending on availability).

Responsibilities:

• Collect, analyze, and interpret complex datasets to provide insights that support business decisions.
• Develop interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI.
• Build high-quality data models and apply best practices in DAX and data transformation.
• Utilize Microsoft Fabric tools such as Dataflows, Pipelines, and OneLake to optimize data workflows.
• Apply machine learning concepts using Power BI AI visuals for forecasting and trend analysis.
• Ensure compliance with data governance standards and maintain proper documentation and metadata.
• Monitor and optimize BI solution performance for accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Provide recommendations to improve BI governance, performance, and standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or data analysis.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Experience with data modeling, DAX, dataflows, and data transformation techniques.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Fabric tools and scalable BI frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills, able to simplify technical concepts for non-technical users.
• Preferred: PL-300 certification.
• Nice to have: Experience with Python or Azure Data Platform.

Expected Deliverables in the First 30–60 Days:

• Production-ready dashboards and reports deployed successfully.
• Reusable and scalable data models with clear documentation.
• A short enablement session or guide for business users.
• Actionable recommendations for BI governance and performance improvements.
