Power Plant Equipment Operator

Rapidly Growing Organization with Interests in Energy, Natural Resources, Mining, Power Generation, and Real Estate Development Seeks Plant Equipment Operators.

Rausch Creek is looking to hire Power Plant Equipment Operators at our Tremont, PA power plant operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of coal generation processes, excellent technical skills, and commitment to safety.

This role requires the ability to work on a rotating 12-hour shift work, night shift, weekends, and holidays schedule.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

* Assist shift with overall plant operations, as directed by shift lead

* Perform daily equipment rounds

* Complete operation logs 2x per shift

* Collect fuel/ash samples 2x per shift

* Perform boiler water chemistry tests

* Adjust chemical feed(s) as required

* Maintain/Adjust plant equipment as required

· Assist in plant start-up and shutdown evolutions

· Interface with contractors performing on-site work activities

· Participate in plant safety committee & other safety programs

· Complete all annual training requirements

· Assist with general plant upkeep

Qualifications and Skills:

* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

* Ability to pass CPR-First Aid, Forklift Operations, Respirator Fit certifications.

* Valid Driver's License

* Physical fitness for equipment operation and maintenance tasks.

* Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and enter confined spaces.

* This position involves working indoors and outdoors as required to complete assigned tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
