We support power infrastructure planning, grid studies, system reliability, and energy transition initiatives across multiple regions.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Power Systems Engineer with at least 5 years of hands-on experience to support power system planning, analysis, and engineering studies for utility-scale and large infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical fundamentals, experience working on grid-related studies, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform power system studies including load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, and stability studies
  • Support transmission and distribution planning projects
  • Analyze network performance and identify system improvement opportunities
  • Prepare technical reports, study documentation, and engineering deliverables
  • Review utility standards, grid codes, and project requirements
  • Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to deliver projects on time
  • Support feasibility studies, system assessments, and advisory engagements
  • Provide technical input during project meetings and reviews

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in power systems engineering
  • Experience with power system analysis tools (e.g., ETAP, PSS®E, DIgSILENT, PSCAD or similar)
  • Strong understanding of transmission and distribution systems
  • Familiarity with utility practices, grid codes, and engineering standards
  • Ability to write clear technical reports and communicate findings effectively
  • Experience working with utilities or large infrastructure projects is highly preferred

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience working on projects in Saudi Arabia or the GCC
  • Knowledge of renewable energy integration and grid modernization
  • Experience supporting regulatory or utility-driven studies
  • Professional certifications or progress toward licensure
