Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Powersports Technician/UTV & ATV Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for motorsports and possess the technical expertise to diagnose, repair, and maintain various powersports vehicles, including motorcycles, ATVs and UTVs,

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosis and Repair: Perform thorough inspections to identify mechanical and electrical issues. Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to troubleshoot problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Maintenance Services: Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid replacements to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
  • Customer Service: When necessary, communicate with customers to explain services performed and provide recommendations for future maintenance. Build and maintain positive relationships with clients.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance services performed. Complete work orders promptly.
  • Communication: Maintain good communication with the service department to convey diagnostic results and repair information and completion.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or degrees in powersports technology or related fields are preferred.
  • Proven experience as a powersports technician or mechanic, preferably in a dealership or service shop setting.
  • Must be able to provide your own basic to intermediate selection of tools. We will provide manufacturer specific specialty tools as needed.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in powersports vehicles.
  • Proficient with diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to receive constructive criticism and feedback when necessary.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license; motorcycle endorsement is a plus.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks, including handling wrenches and tools, loosening and tightening fasteners, getting under and around machines as necessary for repairs.

  • Competitive pay: Commission Based- Starting at $50,000 a year and goes up from there based on work output and experience level.

Hours: Tuesday-Friday 9:00am-6:00pm & Saturday 9:00am-3:00pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
