Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented PPC Engineer with 4–5 years of experience in the stamping industry. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in raw material (RM) procurement, production planning, and a solid understanding of press shop operations. This role is critical in ensuring timely production, optimal resource utilization, and alignment with customer delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer schedules and internal capacity.
• Coordinate with the purchase team for timely procurement of raw materials (steel coils, sheets, etc.) based on BOM and forecast.
• Monitor inventory levels of RM, WIP, and FG to ensure lean operations and avoid stockouts or overstocking.
• Collaborate with the press shop team to align machine loading plans with die availability and maintenance schedules.
• Analyze production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve throughput and reduce downtime.
• Maintain and update production planning tools (ERP/MIS) and generate reports for management review.
• Liaise with quality, maintenance, and logistics teams to ensure smooth end-to-end production flow.
• Track and report key KPIs such as OEE, plan vs actual, material yield, and delivery adherence.

✅ Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of RM planning and procurement processes, especially for stamping-grade materials.
• Hands-on experience in production planning within a press shop environment.
• Familiarity with various types of press machines (mechanical/hydraulic) and their capacities.
• Proficient in ERP systems and MS Excel for planning and reporting.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.

Preferred:

• Exposure to Tier-1 or Tier-2 automotive manufacturing setups.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement practices.
