Job Description:

The PPC Manager will oversee the complete production planning and control process for the textile factory. The role includes planning production schedules, coordinating with all departments, monitoring WIP, ensuring on-time order execution, optimizing capacity and workflow, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires strong analytical skills, data management, and the ability to manage multiple orders under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on order requirements and machine capacity.
  • Monitor WIP (Work in Process) across all production stages to ensure smooth flow.
  • Coordinate with merchandising, production, quality, procurement, and maintenance departments.
  • Track each order from fabric issuance to dispatch and ensure timely completion.
  • Identify bottlenecks, delays, and capacity issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate PPC documentation, T&A plans, daily reports, and order status sheets.
  • Analyze production data, identify gaps, and recommend workflow improvements.
  • Ensure timely availability of raw materials, trims, and accessories.
  • Prepare KPI reports for management, including output, lead time, and capacity utilization.
  • Optimize production efficiency, reduce waste, and support continuous improvement activities.
  • Lead and train the PPC team to strengthen planning accuracy and execution.
  • Manage risk factors such as machine breakdowns, shortages, or sudden changes in priorities.
  • Monitor machine capacity utilization and production cost efficiency.
  • Support lean manufacturing and sustainability initiatives in production processes.

Requirements:

5–6 years of proven experience in PPC within a textile or garment manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of production processes, capacity planning, and workflow management.

Excellent command of MS Excel, ERP systems, and planning tools.

Strong analytical, numerical, and decision-making skills.

Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and manage strict deadlines.

Strong communication and coordination skills.

Leadership abilities with experience in supervising PPC staff.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs160,000.00 - Rs185,000.00 per month
