Job description

The PR Executive plays a key role in strengthening vivo’s brand visibility, desirability, and cultural relevance across the Middle East. This position is to support the development and execution of high-impact PR, influencer, and 360° brand initiatives such as events, press release etc. while ensuring brand consistency, creative excellence and optimized budget. The role requires a proactive, ideas-driven mindset, strong ownership of projects, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across markets, internal and external teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. PR & KOL:

· Drive the execution of vivo’s regional PR and influencer strategy, ensuring alignment with global brand direction and local market relevance.

· Build and nurture strategic relationships with top-tier media, influencers, and KOLs.

· Lead the identification and management of key influencers to act as vivo’s brand ambassadors.

· Maintain and update influencer/KOL databases, identifying new advocates aligned with brand values

· Take ownership and manage PR mailings and seeding - from kitting to delivery - ensuring timely execution.

· Proactively initiate initiatives that further enhance the brand’s visibility and local relevancy.

· Monitor social, economic, and political trends that might affect their organization

· Monitor cultural trends, social media conversations, and emerging consumer behaviors relevant to vivo across the Middle East, translating insights into actionable PR moments and influencer-led opportunities.

· Monitor, Analyze and provide reports on each PR campaign

2. Event Planning & Execution

· Support brand and PR manager in end-to-end planning and delivery of PR and influencer events across key Middle East markets.

· Own event ideation, proposing innovative concepts that generate earned media, social buzz, and strong brand equity. Organizing promotional events such as press release, roadshows etc.

· Representing the organization at press conferences, interviews, etc.

· Manage venue and supplier sourcing, negotiations, and production budgets to ensure best-in-class execution with cost efficiency.

· Oversee on-ground execution, ensuring flawless delivery, premium guest experience, and strong brand storytelling.

· Lead competitive tracking across launches, events, partnerships, and media activity, providing strategic recommendations to strengthen brand positioning.

· Develop and deliver monthly/by campaign performance reporting including tracking earned media, influencer KPIs, event results, and market impact.

· Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and sales teams to ensure fully integrated brand execution and consistent storytelling across all touchpoints.

3. Budget Control & Vendor Management

· Budgeting according to campaign needs, track spending and increase cost efficiency,

· Source new vendors and manage contract related matters.

· Collaborate with vendors to assign briefs, supervise execution and ensure on time & in full delivery of agency services

· Ensure vendor/infleuncer/media fees are fair and within industry standard or campaign requirements

Profile & Skills

· Minimum 3 years of proven experience in PR, influencer marketing, or event marketing in global brands or agencies. Experience in mobile phone industry or top tech company is a plus.

· Strong understanding of the Middle East market, consumer landscape, and influencer ecosystem.

· Have full understanding of media needs and media relationships

· Event planning experience

· Highly creative and ideas-driven, with the ability to translate strategy into impactful execution.

· Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, optimize costs, and deliver high-quality output.

· Having strong media relations, PR and KOL resources is a plus.

· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across local, and global teams; strong vendor management experience.

· Fluency in English is a must and fluency in Arabic is highly desirable (reading, writing, proofreading, and adapting content).

· Strong awareness of regional social and cultural trends.

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to lead multiple projects in parallel.

· Ability to manage projects in tight deadlines and under pressure.

· Excellent attention to details
