Pre - Engineered Metal Building Welder & Fitter

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Pre-Engineered Metal Building Welder & Fitter to join our dynamic fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, welding, and fitting structural components of pre-engineered metal buildings with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that each project meets strict quality standards, safety protocols, and engineering specifications. Responsibilities

• Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble metal components
• Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), and FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) welding on sheet metal and structural steel according to ASME codes & standards
• Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble materials
• Measure dimensions with calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure exact fit-up of components
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety guidelines at all times
• Safely operate a range of machinery, including welding equipment, grinders, hoists, and forklifts, to move and manipulate materials
• Familiarity with ASME codes & standards governing structural welding and fabrication processes
• Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and other tradespeople to ensure that projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
