Pre-K 3 Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pre-K3 Teacher to join our facility and partnership with the Bayonne Board of Education . The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that fosters the intellectual and emotional growth of each child. The Teacher will develop and implement lesson plans, assess students progress and collaborate with parents and the Assistant Teacher to support each child's development. This position is perfect for individuals passionate about early childhood education and committed to nurturing the growth and development of young learners.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans using the HighScope Curriculum.
• Utilize the COR Assessment Tool.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Foster positive relationships with children, promoting social skills and emotional growth.
• Collaborate with the Assistant Teacher to enhance the overall learning experience.
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff when required.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a clean classroom environment.

Requirements

• Must have NJ P-3 Certification.
• Must have Bachelors Degree.
• Must be available Monday through Friday 8:00AM - 3:15PM.
• 1 year experience in Early Childhood Education.
• 1 year experience using HighScope Curriculum and COR Assessment Tools.
