Pre-K Lead Teacher

As a Lead Pre-K Teacher, you will:

• Create lesson plans that support our theme-based curriculum that develops reading, writing, science, technology, and math skills.
• Teach preschoolers through creative arts, music, and activities that promote large and fine motor development.
• Create relationships with parents and provide support through daily interactions and communication.
• Uphold the rules and regulations of Lightbridge Academy and governmental regulatory agencies about children's care, health, and safety.
• Coach and mentor assistant teachers to develop a strong classroom teaching team.
• Support an engaging work environment by learning, collaborating, and building co-worker relationships.

Skills, Abilities, and Experience we are looking for:

• 2 years of prior experience in childcare
• Post-Secondary school degree
• Organization, time management, and multi-tasking skills
• Oral and written communication skills
