Responsibilities

• Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards and curriculum frameworks such as Montessori or other pedagogical approaches
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence
• Utilize effective behavior management strategies to support positive social interactions and emotional regulation among children
• Incorporate literacy education, math activities, physical education, and other core subjects into daily lessons to promote holistic development
• Support children with special needs through early intervention techniques and collaboration with specialists in special education
• Maintain accurate documentation of each child's progress, including assessments and standardized testing results, to inform instruction and communicate with families
• Manage classroom routines efficiently, ensuring smooth transitions and adherence to daycare or preschool schedules
• Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, classroom management, and innovative teaching methods

Experience

• Prior classroom experience working with preschool-aged children in daycare or private school settings is essential
• Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing literacy and math education strategies
• Experience working with children with special needs or in early intervention programs is highly desirable
• Familiarity with Montessori methods or other early childhood pedagogies enhances your ability to create enriching learning environments
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with parents, colleagues, and specialists involved in child welfare and education initiatives
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques suitable for young children to foster positive behavior and social skills
• Previous experience in preschool or toddler care settings that emphasizes child welfare, safety protocols, and developmental milestones
