Pre-K Lead Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves developing and implementing engaging curriculum tailored to the needs of preschool-aged children, while promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with early childhood education standards.
• Create lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, and physical education activities.
• Foster a positive learning environment through effective classroom management techniques.
• Provide individualized support to children with special needs or those requiring early intervention.
• Engage in behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among students.
• Conduct regular assessments of student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
• Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment that supports child welfare.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience for all students.

Skills

• Strong background in curriculum development and lesson planning for preschool-aged children.
• Experience working with children in various settings, including daycare, private schools, or special education environments.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
• Proficient in classroom management techniques that foster an engaging learning atmosphere.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff members.
• Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment methods for young learners.
• Ability to provide tutoring support in literacy and math as needed.
• Experience in teaching physical education activities tailored for preschoolers is a plus.
