Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Pre-K Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners during their foundational years. Duties

  • Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic childhood development
  • Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies that encourage cooperation and respect among students
  • Utilize specialized techniques in special education and early intervention to support children with diverse learning needs
  • Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor progress and tailor instruction accordingly
  • Support toddlers’ care routines, including potty training, meal times, nap schedules, and socialization activities
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians through regular communication about child welfare, developmental milestones, and classroom activities
  • Maintain detailed records of student progress, behavior reports, lesson plans, and classroom inventories to ensure compliance with educational standards
  • Incorporate teaching physical education activities that promote motor skills development and overall health
  • Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, curriculum innovation, and classroom management techniques

Experience

  • Prior classroom experience working with preschool or Pre-K students in daycare or private school settings is required
  • Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across early childhood subjects such as literacy education, math, and physical education
  • Experience working with children requiring special education or early intervention services is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of Montessori methods or other child-centered educational philosophies is a plus
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and families
  • Familiarity with standardized testing procedures used to assess early learners’ progress
  • Previous experience in toddler care or preschool environments that emphasize childhood development principles is preferred

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
