Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Pre-K Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in their earliest educational experiences. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate curricula that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori principles to foster holistic childhood development.
- Plan and execute engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards and support individual learning styles.
- Manage classroom behavior through positive behavior management techniques to create a safe, respectful learning environment.
- Support children’s social-emotional growth by facilitating activities that promote cooperation, communication skills, and emotional regulation.
- Collaborate with families to discuss children’s progress, share insights on developmental milestones, and address individual needs related to special education or early intervention.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, assessments, and standardized testing results to monitor growth and inform instruction.
- Ensure compliance with childcare regulations, health and safety standards, and child welfare policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven classroom management skills with experience in preschool or daycare settings.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development theories and early intervention strategies.
- Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education or literacy education.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or other specialized early childhood teaching approaches is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for working with children, parents, colleagues, and support staff.
- Prior experience working with children with special needs or in private school environments is preferred.
- Ability to create an inclusive environment that supports toddlers’ care needs and promotes positive behavior management strategies.
