Pre-K Teacher - January Start

Position Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced early childhood teachers who want stability, purpose, and flexibility. We are looking for a long-term substitute in Kansas City, Kansas to work at least 32 hours a week, based on your schedule. Position starts at $17/hour but negotiable based on experience and credentials.

Responsibilities

• Support classrooms serving children ages 2-5
• Support daily routines, implement lesson plans, and ensure a nurturing environment
• Support children’s learning through play-based and structured activities
• Communicate effectively with center staff and directors
• Follow all licensing, health, and safety requirements

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Minimum 12 months classroom experience in a licensed early childhood setting
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and classroom management
• Dependable, flexible, and ready to start in January
• Must pass all state-required background checks and health clearances
