Kids N Us is seeking an enthusiastic teacher to join our team! We are looking to hire an Pre Kindergarten 2 Assistant Teacher at Kids N Us help to plan and implement an ongoing program of all activities that promote the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child enrolled in our care. No experience needed, willing to train the right person.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Create a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn and play.
• Bring a sense of warmth, patience, and understanding to the classroom every day.
• Is responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions for a group of children.
• Cultivate positive relationships with the children, families, teachers, and staff.
• Implement school curriculum and assess developmental needs of students.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17- $18 per hour

Schedule:

• 6:45 am-2:00 pm
• Monday to Friday

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two years related experience and/or training. Must be at least 18 years of age.

Permit/Certification:

• Valid TB skin test
• Valid Proof of MMR
• Valid Proof of Covid
• Vaccine or Approved Exemption
• Valid food handlers permit
• Valid first aid and CPR card
• Child Care Basics (30 Hours Course)
• Initial Certificate or Equivalent (Within 5 Years)
