Pre-Kindergarten Assistant Teacher

Reputed and highly coveted Montessori school in Ashburn, VA is seeking a warm and energetic professional to join our family of teachers and assistant teachers. The position is for an assistant teacher for our pre-kindergarten classroom (3-5 yrs old). Must love kids and take complete care (including occasional diaper changes/training) of little ones. Fluency in English, good communication skills and prior childcare experience is highly preferred. The applicant must be self-motivated in order to create a nurturing and stimulating classroom.

We are looking for full-time (9 am - 6 pm) or part-time (3pm - 6pm) candidate. We will also consider college students and high school graduates who are looking for part-time job.

Good opportunity for someone to grow their career from an assistant teacher to a lead teacher. Compensation will be based on experience and education. We also support career development for someone who would like to get certification in early childhood education/ Montessori education.

Qualified candidates should be able to pass a background check and child protection services check for child neglect and abuse.
