Pre Licensed Therapist (Couples & Individual Therapy)

The Couples Center of the Pioneer Valley is seeking a pre licensed clinician interested in developing strong clinical skills while receiving specialized training and support within a relationship focused practice.

This role offers the opportunity to work with a mix of individual adults and couples, primarily within managed care, while building experience in couples therapy and relational work.

We are looking for clinicians who value collaboration, curiosity, growth, and meaningful client relationships.

Position Overview
This is a hybrid 1099 contractor role with an expected caseload of approximately 25 client hours per week.

The clinician will provide:

• Individual therapy services
• Couples therapy services
• Documentation and treatment planning
• Participation in supervision and consultation processes
• Collaboration with the clinical team as needed

Most referrals are generated directly through the practice, allowing clinicians to focus on clinical work rather than marketing or practice building.

Qualifications
Required:

• Associate level license or eligibility in Massachusetts
• Master's degree in Marriage & Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
• Eligible to practice under supervision in Massachusetts
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Interest in relationship systems and couples work

Preferred:

• Experience working with couples or families
• Interest in relational, attachment based, or systems oriented work
• Desire to specialize in couples therapy

Schedule
Hybrid position with flexibility in scheduling.

Clinicians maintain autonomy over their schedules while meeting expected client care commitments and caseload goals.

Pay: $42.00 - $45.00 per hour
