Pre-Litigation Paralegal

Job Title: Pre-Litigation Personal Injury Paralegal

Location: In-Office, Scottsdale, AZ 85251

Type: Full-Time (8 hours per day)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pre-Litigation Personal Injury Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with excellent organizational skills, and a strong understanding of the legal process surrounding personal injury cases. Duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Entering data from medical records, court documents, and other sources into our database.
• Working with clients to gather all necessary documents and information for their case.
• Gathering initial medical bills and records.
• Obtaining police reports, 911 tapes, body cam footage, etc.
• Assisting clients with property damage claims (i.e. total loss, repairs, diminished value, loss of use, etc.).
• Assisting clients coordinate medical treatment.
• Assessing viability of client claims after 30 – 60 days.
• Assisting with settlements and with lien resolutions.
• Ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Meeting deadlines and producing high-quality work.
• Communicating effectively with clients and other team members.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Minimum 2-4 years of experience as a personal injury paralegal.
• Knowledge of relevant legal procedures and best practices.
• Hard-working, problem solver, and independent.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in data entry.
• Ability to type quickly and accurately.
• Ability to follow instructions and pay close attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, G-Suite, and case management software.
• Proficient in using technology.

Pay: Salary commensurate with experience.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
