Pre-Litigation Paralegal

This Position:

We are experiencing growth and have an immediate need for a full-time, professional, friendly, multi-tasking Personal Injury Paralegal to become part of our team! You will provide overall support to a team of attorneys and work under their direct supervision. This position will focus on assisting clients pursue their claims for personal injury. Duties Include:

• Obtain and organize documentation required at different stages of pre-litigation
• Manage and organize case files, medical records, correspondence and any related documents.
• Uphold client and case information into case management program.
• Maintain constant communication with clients, attorneys, medical providers and insurance adjusters throughout case timeline.
• Communicating with clients and medical providers to verify treatment statuses, confirm outstanding balances, and request reductions.
• Requesting information and/or documents including accident reports, medical records, billing records, and lien information while appropriately handling confidential information.
• Prepare, draft and send demand packages to insurance companies.
• Prepare client breakdowns, check client account balances, and process disbursements.
• Previous Personal Injury Paralegal experience (2-3 years) is required - Applicants with relevant personal injury experience and/or paralegal experience will be highly considered.
• Bachelor's Degree is required
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred

The ideal candidate will have basic computer and filing knowledge, is prompt and on time, has a team player attitude, professional demeanor, and strong communication and clerical skills. Office Hours are 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Monday through Thursday, and 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM on Fridays.

Our Location:

Our office is located on the third floor of the Black Ridge Buildings overlooking beautiful St. George, Utah. Most of our team was either raised in Southern Utah or has made it their home. St. George is where people come to escape cold weather, and we’re near many State and National Parks.
