Pre-Opening Procurement Manager

Summary

We are looking for an experienced Pre-opening Procurement Manager to support the opening of Hyatt Place AlUla.

Hyatt Place AlUla represents a significant milestone in Hyatt’s expansion across the region and will feature 215 guestrooms, two food and beverage outlets, meeting space, swimming pool and a fitness center appealing to both leisure and business travelers.


Your Role

As the Pre-Opening Procurement Manager, you’ll manage procurement activities and ensure timely sourcing of supplies and equipment required for the hotel opening.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage pre-opening procurement operations and purchasing activities
  • Source suppliers and negotiate pricing and contracts
  • Ensure timely delivery of supplies, equipment, and materials
  • Coordinate with departments to identify operational requirements
  • Monitor inventory, budgets, and cost control
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in hospitality or pre-opening projects
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
  • Good understanding of procurement processes and inventory control
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks remotely
  • Excellent English communication
