Overview
The Pre-Primary Coordinator plays a pivotal role in shaping the educational experiences of young learners. This position is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of curriculum tailored for early childhood education. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of childhood development and be passionate about fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment. The Pre-Primary Coordinator will work closely with teachers, parents, and educational staff to ensure that each child receives the support they need to thrive.

Duties

  • Develop and implement an innovative curriculum that aligns with early childhood education standards.
  • Mentor and support teaching staff in effective classroom management and lesson planning.
  • Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Facilitate professional development workshops focusing on literacy education, math, and special education techniques.
  • Collaborate with families to create individualized learning plans for children, including those with special needs or autism.
  • Oversee classroom activities, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for all students.
  • Utilize learning technology to enhance educational experiences and engage students effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance, including standardized testing results and behavioral assessments.
  • Provide guidance on library services and resources available to enhance literacy skills among students.

Experience
Candidates should have a strong background in early childhood education, with experience working directly with young children in various settings. Preferred qualifications include:

  • Proven experience in curriculum development and lesson planning for early learners.
  • Familiarity with Montessori methods or other progressive educational philosophies.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff.
  • Experience in behavior management techniques and mentoring educators in best practices.
  • Knowledge of early intervention strategies for children requiring additional support.
  • A background in physical education teaching is advantageous but not mandatory. The Pre-Primary Coordinator position is ideal for individuals who are dedicated to fostering a love of learning in young children while providing leadership within an educational setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per year
