Role Purpose

At Indian Wisdom School, the Pre-Primary / Mother Teacher plays a vital role in laying the foundation of learning and values. The teacher is expected to nurture young children with care, patience, and warmth, while promoting their academic readiness, emotional security, and social skills in a joyful learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching & Learning

Plan and conduct play-based, activity-oriented lessons for Nursery, LKG, and UKG.

Teach basic concepts of language, numbers, shapes, colours, rhymes, and general awareness.

Encourage creativity, curiosity, and confidence through stories, music, art, and games.

Follow the school’s curriculum guidelines and teaching philosophy.

2. Child Care & Emotional Development

Act as a motherly figure, ensuring children feel safe, happy, and emotionally secure.

Help children adapt to school routines such as arrival, snack time, rest time, and washroom habits.

Observe children’s behavior and guide them with love, patience, and positive discipline.

3. Classroom Management

Maintain a clean, colorful, hygienic, and child-friendly classroom.

Ensure safety and discipline at all times within the classroom and school premises.

Encourage good habits, manners, and values among children.

4. Assessment & Documentation

Observe and record each child’s learning progress and developmental milestones.

Maintain attendance, observation notes, and basic student records.

Inform the Pre-Primary Coordinator about any learning or behavioral concerns.

5. Parent Interaction

Communicate regularly with parents regarding the child’s progress, habits, and well-being.

Participate in Parent–Teacher Meetings (PTMs), orientations, and school programs.

Guide parents on supporting learning and discipline at home.

6. School Activities & Teamwork

Actively participate in school functions, celebrations, assemblies, and events.

Work in coordination with other teachers, helpers, and school management.

Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and workshops as organized by the school.

Qualification & Eligibility

Minimum 12th Pass / Graduate

NTT / D.El.Ed / ECCE / Montessori Training preferred

Freshers with passion for teaching young children are welcome

Teaching experience in pre-primary section will be an added advantage

Basic understanding of child psychology and early childhood education

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
