Pre-Primary Teacher

Grades: Nursery to Kindergarten (Pre-Primary Section)
Reports to: Academic Coordinator / Principal
Job Summary:
The Pre-Primary Teacher will be responsible for creating a joyful, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and foundational skill development among young learners. The teacher will use age-appropriate teaching strategies and interactive classroom practices to support holistic child development—social, emotional, cognitive, and physical.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons based on the school curriculum.
- Foster a safe, caring, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Use storytelling, play-based learning, music, art, and movement to develop early literacy and numeracy skills.
- Observe and assess children’s progress, maintaining detailed records and portfolios.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding children’s learning and well-being.
- Organize and participate in school events, celebrations, and assemblies.
- Collaborate with co-teachers and support staff to ensure smooth classroom functioning.
- Encourage positive behavior management and promote social skills and empathy among children.
- Ensure classroom hygiene, safety, and organization of learning materials.
- Participate in training programs and staff meetings as scheduled by the school.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education / Child Development / or equivalent qualification.
- Montessori / ECC Ed / NTT certification (mandatory or preferred).
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience teaching pre-primary or kindergarten levels.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative, patient, and passionate about working with young children.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with digital teaching aids.

Pay: ₹9,759.91 - ₹30,000.00 per month
